Cadaver K-9 Recovery

Currently MSAR has the only registered cadaver dog in Manitoba – these dogs are valuable for recovery missions – the dogs can work either in the land setting or be trained for specific water recovery.  This type of dog was utilized in the Sagkeeng First Nation recovery mission and saved our teams significant search time by narrowing down the mission to specific hot spots of interest.  Our association will be adding more cadaver dogs to the association as they are trained and ready to be put into service.
